Technical Superintendent at an Undisclosed Marine Company via Myrtle Management Consultants – Port Harcourt, Rivers
A marine logistics company is hiring a Technical Superintendent in Port Harcourt through Myrtle Management Consultants.
Responsibilities
- Oversee technical maintenance, repairs and reliable operation of offshore support vessels.
- Plan inspections, dry-docking, preventive maintenance and vessel technical work within approved budgets.
- Manage vessel OPEX and CAPEX, maintenance records, spares and technical procurement.
- Coordinate classification society surveys, inspections, technical reports and compliance.
- Work with Chief Engineers, shipyards and contractors to minimise vessel downtime.
Requirements
- Degree in Marine Engineering and/or Class 1 Chief Engineer Certificate of Competency.
- Sailing background as Chief or Second Engineer, ideally aboard OSVs or PSVs.
- Two to four years as a shore-based superintendent responsible for multiple vessels.
- Strong CMMS, shipyard work, budget management, procurement and reporting skills.
