Operations Lead at Babban Gona – Cross River State
Babban Gona is recruiting a full-time, on-site Operations Lead in Cross River State to coordinate farmer programmes and serve as a primary contact for member farmers and local communities.
Responsibilities
- Recruit, register and onboard smallholder farmers into the programme.
- Build strong relationships with farmers, community leaders and other stakeholders.
- Coordinate timely delivery of agricultural inputs to registered members.
- Monitor farming practices against recommended agronomic standards.
- Maintain accurate farmer registers, activity logs and records.
- Submit weekly programme reports covering progress, risks and field observations.
- Use programme tools for data collection, monitoring and reporting.
- Engage village heads, cooperative leaders and extension networks.
- Maintain the local hub office and programme equipment.
Requirements
- Relevant qualifications.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong organisation and record-keeping skills.
