Operations – Waste Management Coordinator II at Amaiden Energy – Lagos

Amaiden Energy Nigeria Limited is recruiting an Operations – Waste Management Coordinator II in Lagos to plan and oversee the handling of solid and liquid waste in upstream and downstream operations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate waste services and monitor contractors’ day-to-day delivery.
• Ensure appropriate waste identification, risk assessments and handling procedures.
• Guide staff and third-party suppliers on safe storage, transport and disposal practices.
• Oversee operational compliance with applicable waste legislation and environmental permits.
• Monitor waste facilities, emissions and disposal activities while supporting waste-reduction initiatives.
• Support spill-response arrangements and incident investigation.

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in Applied Science, Environmental Management or equivalent.
• Safety leadership certification and incident-investigation training such as Taproot.
• Experience in environmental or waste management, contractor oversight and operation of waste facilities.
• Understanding of waste regulations, landfill operations, disposal methods and safety assessment tools.
• Ability to work in complex or remote operational environments and collaborate across teams.
