Engineering – Completions Engineer III at Amaiden Energy Nigeria Limited – Lagos

Amaiden Energy Nigeria Limited is recruiting an Engineering – Completions Engineer III in Lagos to support safe, effective drilling and well-completion operations and rig-site coordination.

Responsibilities and requirements

• Serve as a principal contact for rig crews and third-party service providers, ensuring equipment and personnel logistics are organised.
• Monitor rig and well-control activities and support safety, environmental and emergency drills.
• Make sure approved drilling and completion programmes are followed, with changes appropriately controlled.
• Coordinate materials, equipment, surveillance, operations reporting and interaction with engineering and geology teams.
• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Petroleum, Mechanical, Electrical or a related engineering discipline; equivalent technical training may be considered.
• Typically eight to twelve years’ experience in drilling, workovers, well servicing or rig operations, including significant supervision.
• Appropriate well-control and offshore survival or medical certificates where applicable, with sound HSE and operational reporting experience.
