Primary School Teacher at Hampos Academy – Apo Resettlement, Abuja

Hampos Academy is recruiting a full-time Primary School Teacher in Apo Resettlement, Abuja (FCT). The position supports children’s literacy, numeracy, life skills and personal development through a safe and engaging primary classroom.

Responsibilities

• Plan, teach and assess lessons aligned with school curriculum objectives and learning outcomes.
• Maintain a supportive, structured classroom that encourages respect, responsibility and active participation.
• Adapt teaching approaches and resources to pupils’ different learning needs and abilities.
• Observe and record academic progress and give timely feedback to pupils and parents.
• Communicate with parents and colleagues to support pupils’ academic and personal growth.
• Follow the school’s behaviour, safeguarding and assessment policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
• Relevant teaching qualification and classroom experience at primary school level.
• Strong spoken and written English.
• Patience, organisation, attention to detail and genuine interest in child development.
• Ability to work collaboratively and take initiative.
