Project Engineer at an Oil and Gas Company via Alan & Grant – Lagos

An indigenous oil and gas engineering and construction services company is recruiting a Project Engineer in Lagos through Alan & Grant. The role supports pipeline and facilities projects from planning to execution.

Responsibilities

• Review engineering designs, specifications, drawings and calculations across relevant technical disciplines.
• Track project schedules, progress, engineering deliverables and resource requirements.
• Coordinate with contractors, clients, consultants and construction teams to resolve technical issues.
• Check design conformity, quality standards and safety requirements.
• Support procurement reviews, inspections, project meetings and technical reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Chemical, Petroleum or another relevant Engineering discipline.
• Three to five years of relevant engineering or project-execution experience, ideally in oil and gas.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, codes and engineering standards.
• Familiarity with scheduling software such as Microsoft Project or Primavera P6 is an advantage.
• Strong communication, analysis and cross-functional coordination skills.
