Quality Control Officer / Inspector at an Undisclosed Company – Ikeja, Lagos

Ascentech Services Limited is recruiting a full-time Quality Control Officer / Inspector for a food-production assignment in Ikeja, Lagos. The role monitors raw materials, production processes and finished products to support product quality, hygiene and food safety.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out physicochemical and microbial tests on incoming materials, in-process samples and finished products.
• Inspect production activities and perform routine checks throughout the manufacturing process.
• Assess finished goods through sensory evaluation.
• Support Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) compliance, hygiene, housekeeping and food safety controls.
• Document inspection and testing results accurately.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree or HND in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biochemistry or a related field.
• Two to four years of quality control experience, ideally in FMCG or food manufacturing.
• Sound understanding of GMP, hygiene, food safety and quality control procedures.
• Good analytical judgement, record keeping and problem-solving ability.

Remuneration

Net salary of ₦200,000–₦220,000 per month.
