Recycling Officer at Mirahub Limited – Nationwide

Mirahub Limited is recruiting full-time, remote Recycling Officers across Nigeria to develop a dependable network for collecting damaged mobile-phone panels and coordinating their movement through its recycling programme.

Responsibilities

• Identify and onboard phone repair centres, technicians, retailers and other suppliers of damaged panels.
• Collect discarded or damaged mobile-phone screens from collection partners and assigned locations.
• Maintain productive relationships with suppliers, negotiate collection terms and develop a consistent flow of materials.
• Inspect and sort recovered panels in line with quality and operational guidelines.
• Keep accurate supplier, collection, quantity and inventory records.
• Prepare regular reports on collection volumes, sourcing activity and local market trends.
• Arrange safe transport of collected materials to the appropriate hubs or warehouses.
• Promote responsible electronic-waste recycling and identify opportunities for additional collection volumes.
• Follow environmental and company procedures while meeting assigned daily, weekly and monthly targets.

Requirements

• At least an SSCE, OND, HND or bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• Experience in field operations, sourcing, procurement, recycling, logistics, sales or business development is advantageous.
• Familiarity with phone components and the repair trade is an added advantage.
• Strong networking, negotiation, communication and stakeholder-management abilities.
• Ability to work independently, keep reliable records and deliver against targets.
• Willingness to travel frequently within an assigned region.
• A proactive, trustworthy and organised approach, with sound problem-solving and time-management skills.

Salary and benefits

₦100,000 per month, plus performance-based incentives and monthly collection bonuses. Training on recycling operations and mobile-device components and career-development opportunities are offered.
