Risk & Internal Control Manager at WTS Energy – Lagos
WTS Energy is recruiting a Risk & Internal Control Manager in Lagos to oversee group-wide risk management and strengthen governance, audit and internal controls in project-based operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead group-level risk assessment, monitoring and governance.
- Develop, maintain and improve internal controls across operational, procurement and inventory processes.
- Evaluate controls in project-based environments and recommend practical improvements.
- Apply risk and internal audit practices to support compliance and organisational accountability.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Risk Management or a related discipline.
- Relevant professional membership or qualification: ACA, ACCA, CIA or CRMA.
- Seven to ten years of relevant experience in risk management, internal controls, audit or compliance.
- Strong understanding of procurement, inventory management and operational controls in project-led businesses.
- Experience with group-level governance and risk assessment; applicants must be based in Nigeria.
Desirable experience
- Master’s degree or MBA.
- Background in oil and gas services, engineering, EPC, manufacturing or industrial operations.
- Familiarity with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics.
