Internal Control Manager at Maybrands Nigeria Limited – Lekki Phase 1
Maybrands Nigeria Limited is seeking a proactive Internal Control Manager to strengthen operational compliance and risk controls in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos.
Key responsibilities
- Implement and improve internal control policies across daily operations.
- Conduct compliance checks, control reviews and internal audits.
- Identify operational risks and recommend corrective steps or process improvements.
- Review documentation, analyse discrepancies in Excel and prepare reports for management.
- Assist investigations into breaches, irregularities and suspected fraud.
- Work with departments on risk assessments, controls for new processes and the timely closure of audit findings.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
- At least three years’ experience in internal control, audit or compliance.
- Sound analytical, reporting, time-management and Microsoft Excel skills.
- Accuracy, attention to detail and the ability to work independently or with colleagues.
- Retail-sector experience, ERP systems such as Odoo and audit-control tools are advantages.
