Sales & Customer Relationship Executive at Exotic Pet Café – Ikate, Lekki
Exotic Pet Café is recruiting a full-time Sales & Customer Relationship Executive in Ikate, Lekki, Lagos. The role combines in-store sales, customer care and ongoing engagement with owners of dogs, cats and other pets.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers in person, on WhatsApp and by telephone, recommending suitable pet products and services.
- Process sales, payments and receipts accurately using the Shopify point-of-sale system.
- Handle grooming and boarding enquiries, booking confirmations, forms and records.
- Follow up after purchases and appointments, encourage repeat visits and reconnect with inactive customers.
- Send vaccination, deworming and treatment reminders according to schedules set by the veterinary team.
- Maintain reliable customer and pet information, cross-sell grooming, boarding and veterinary care, and collect feedback.
- Support stock counts, restocking and product displays; escalate complaints promptly.
- Provide management with daily sales and booking reports.
Requirements
- OND, HND or bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- One to three years’ experience in retail sales, customer service or front-desk work; premium-brand experience is an advantage.
- Confidence and comfort handling dogs, cats and other pets; pet ownership is an advantage.
- Clear spoken and written English, with strong telephone and WhatsApp communication.
- Ability to use point-of-sale tools, smartphone applications, Google Sheets or Excel.
- Careful cash handling, accurate records, reliability and a polished approach to customers.
- Residence in or near Lekki or Ajah.
Working Schedule and Remuneration
Five working days each week, with a rotating weekday off. The salary is ₦200,000 monthly, including transport, with a performance bonus of up to ₦50,000 monthly. Accommodation is available for successful candidates who need it.
Performance Measures
Performance is assessed through store sales, returning customers, grooming and boarding bookings, timely treatment reminders and the accuracy of sales and customer records.
