Aesthetic Nurse at Ascentech Services Limited – Victoria Island

Ascentech Services Limited is recruiting an Aesthetic Nurse for a beauty clinic on Victoria Island, Lagos. Reporting to the Clinic Manager, the nurse provides and assists with cosmetic and skin-rejuvenation care while protecting patient safety and confidentiality.

Key responsibilities

• Assess patients’ skin, facial features, medical history and desired outcomes during consultations.
• Provide aesthetic injections and skin treatments only where properly trained and authorised.
• Operate laser, IPL and other aesthetic devices only within applicable competence and authorisation.
• Explain treatment preparation, aftercare, side effects and realistic results to patients.
• Monitor adverse reactions, maintain complete clinical records and standardised photographs, and arrange follow-up.
• Maintain infection prevention, patient privacy, clinical compliance and high standards of service.

Requirements

• Recognised nursing degree, associate degree or equivalent, with a valid RN qualification and current registration or licence.
• At least two years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in dermatology, aesthetics, plastic surgery, intensive care or emergency care.
• Knowledge of facial anatomy and skin health; authorised experience in injectables, skin therapy or lasers is advantageous.
• Excellent judgement, patient communication, empathy, confidentiality and recordkeeping.

Performance targets include a 70% patient retention/rebooking rate, patient satisfaction of at least 90%, adverse clinical incidents below 1%.
