Security Officer at DISTRICT10 – Gwarinpa, Abuja
DISTRICT10 is recruiting a full-time Security Officer in Gwarinpa, Abuja, to protect guests, staff and property at its hospitality premises.
Key responsibilities
- Control access at entrances, exits and perimeter gates, admitting authorised staff, visitors and suppliers.
- Patrol the restaurant premises, parking areas and surrounding spaces, watching for hazards and suspicious activity.
- Maintain a professional security presence to reassure guests and employees.
- Respond calmly and promptly to incidents, disturbances and emergencies, recording and escalating reports to management.
- Help manage guest movements, event crowds and traffic flow alongside parking personnel or drivers.
- Apply fire safety, restricted-area and other site security procedures.
Qualifications and requirements
- First School Leaving Certificate or SSCE.
- Previous security work in a restaurant, hotel, lounge or corporate setting is an advantage.
- Good fitness, attentiveness, observation and attention to detail.
- Professional communication, conflict-resolution abilities, reliability and composure under pressure.
