Security Officer via HCER Consulting Limited – Benin

An undisclosed hospitality employer is recruiting a Security Officer in Benin, Edo State through HCER Consulting Limited. The officer will help protect hotel guests, employees, property and facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol hotel buildings, entrances, exits and surrounding areas for security risks.
• Verify visitors and control access in line with hotel procedures.
• Monitor CCTV, investigate suspicious behaviour and report concerns promptly.
• Maintain visitor logs, incident records and routine security reports.
• Respond professionally to disturbances, security incidents and emergencies.
• Protect hotel assets, support orderly events and coordinate with management or emergency services where needed.
• Keep emergency exits clear and observe hotel safety rules.

Qualifications and requirements

• At least SSCE; additional qualifications are an advantage.
• Previous security work, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
• Alertness, integrity, discipline and the ability to stay calm in emergencies.
• Clear communication and ability to conduct physical patrols.
• Willingness to work shifts, nights, weekends and public holidays.
• Knowledge of basic emergency response and first aid is an advantage.
