Security Operative at an Undisclosed Hotel via Domeo Resources – Aba

A hotel in Aba, Abia State, is recruiting a Security Operative through Domeo Resources International. The position focuses on the safety of hotel guests, staff, premises and property.

Responsibilities

• Control access and verify visitors, contractors, vendors and authorised persons.
• Maintain entry, exit, vehicle and property-movement records in line with security procedures.
• Patrol entrances, corridors, parking areas, perimeter and other assigned locations; promptly report risks and breaches.
• Monitor available CCTV systems and security equipment, reporting faults and protecting relevant recordings.
• Respond appropriately to incidents, theft, disturbance, fire alerts and emergencies; support safe evacuation where necessary.
• Document incidents clearly, preserve evidence and notify supervisors without delay.
• Protect guest and employee confidentiality, keys, access cards and company assets.
• Give accurate shift handovers and keep patrol logs and visitor registers.
• Maintain a professional uniform, discipline, courtesy, vigilance and compliance with lawful security practices.
• Attend briefings, drills and training, and support event-related crowd control.

Requirements

• SSCE/WAEC or equivalent minimum qualification; additional education or security training is an advantage.
• Previous security, facility protection, hospitality, military or law-enforcement experience is an advantage.
• Knowledge of access control, patrols, incident reporting and basic emergency procedures.
• Ability to read, write, communicate and prepare clear records.
• Physical fitness for patrol and standing duties and flexibility for shifts, weekends, public holidays and nights.
• Honesty, discretion, composure, sound judgement and respectful conduct.
