Accountant at Genesis Group – Aba, Abia State
Genesis Group is recruiting a full-time Accountant in Aba, Abia State, to maintain accurate restaurant financial records, reporting and financial controls.
Responsibilities
- Record accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial documents.
- Monitor daily revenue, expenses and cash-flow movements.
- Reconcile restaurant sales and payment transactions.
- Prepare statements, management reports and financial summaries.
- Monitor budgets, food inventory costs and operating expenditure.
- Process authorised payments and maintain reliable supporting records.
- Apply appropriate accounting controls and accountability practices.
Qualifications and skills
- OND, HND or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- Prior accounting experience; restaurant or hospitality finance experience is advantageous.
- Knowledge of bookkeeping, financial reporting and reconciliations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Good numeracy, analytical thinking, organisation, accuracy and integrity.
