Internal Control / Audit Manager (ACA) at Genesis Group – Warri, Delta and Aba, Abia
Genesis Group is hiring a full-time Internal Control / Audit Manager (ACA) for Warri, Delta State and Aba, Abia State. The role strengthens internal controls, independent assurance, risk management and governance.
Internal control concerns the design and monitoring of day-to-day controls, while internal audit provides an independent evaluation.
Responsibilities
- Carry out risk-based audits, process walkthroughs and operational and financial reviews.
- Evaluate control design, segregation of duties, access rights and implementation effectiveness.
- Identify financial, operational and regulatory risks, drawing on frameworks such as COSO or SOX.
- Investigate irregularities, reconcile inventories and review electronic and physical records.
- Report audit findings to management or the Audit Committee and monitor remediation.
- Work with external auditors, department heads and senior leaders to improve accountability.
