Senior Business Development Officer at an Undisclosed Engineering Company (via Pyfinest) – Abuja

An indigenous engineering company is recruiting a full-time Senior Business Development Officer in Wuse, Abuja, through Pyfinest Resources. The successful candidate will identify and secure high-value commercial opportunities, develop client relationships and contribute to revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue valuable new business and contract opportunities in target markets.
• Develop strategic relationships with corporate clients, decision-makers and commercial partners.
• Prepare proposals, quotations and persuasive commercial presentations.
• Lead business negotiations and guide prospects through to contract award and purchase orders.
• Monitor industry trends, competitors and emerging market opportunities.
• Maintain a strong sales pipeline and work towards agreed revenue targets.

Qualifications and requirements

• Relevant degree or HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in sales, business development or commercial roles, preferably in engineering, construction or a related business-to-business industry.
• Evidence of securing contracts, growing accounts and meeting commercial targets.
• Excellent networking, negotiation, presentation, strategic relationship management and commercial judgement.
• Initiative, independent working ability and an established approach to converting opportunities into signed business.

Salary

• ₦300,000 per month.
