Senior Operations Manager at an Undisclosed Hospitality Property (via Ren San & Co.) – Abuja

A luxury hospitality property in Maitama, Abuja is recruiting a full-time Senior Operations Manager through Ren San & Co. This senior position owns the property’s operations, standards, guest readiness and staff performance, with independent decision-making responsibility and minimal supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for daily operations across reception, housekeeping, kitchen, maintenance, security, drivers, gardeners and related teams.
• Manage the Operations Manager and give senior direction to staff, contractors and vendors; promote discipline, accountability and effective staff coordination.
• Establish and continuously improve operating systems, checklists and procedures for the property.
• Inspect apartments and facilities regularly to maintain high-quality guest readiness, safety and service standards.
• Resolve escalated complaints and sensitive guest concerns, using customer feedback to improve operations.
• Prepare reliable daily, weekly and monthly reports, maintain incident and operational records and support budget planning, forecasting and cost control.
• Identify operational risks early, recommend practical solutions and make independent decisions within the role’s authority.
• Support property operations during the current remodelling period and other demanding operational circumstances.

Qualifications and requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Hospitality Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Five to eight years’ relevant experience in hospitality operations, hotels, luxury serviced apartments or short-let accommodation, including at least two to three years in a senior or management position.
• Experience supervising both junior and mid-level staff and facility services.
• Exposure to property renovation, remodelling or construction-related supervision is strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to manage operations independently with sound judgement, leadership and accountability.
• Microsoft Office and operational reporting proficiency.
• Must be based in Abuja and available for full-time, on-site work, including flexibility beyond regular hours as needed.
• Readiness to assume a senior leadership role immediately.
