Specialist – Sustainable Finance & Investment Advisory at Independent Project Monitoring Company Limited (IPMC) – Lagos
Independent Project Monitoring Company Limited (IPMC) seeks a Sustainable Finance and Investment Advisory Specialist in Lagos to assess investment opportunities, prepare financial models and support infrastructure and sustainability transactions.
Role Objective
- Provide financial analysis, investment appraisal and transaction-related advisory support for infrastructure, sustainability, industrial development and corporate investment opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake commercial and financial assessments Of proposed investment projects.
- Develop financial models, investment appraisals, cash-flow projections and sensitivity analyses.
- Assess project bankability, funding requirements, capital structures and investment risks.
- Identify appropriate commercial financing, development finance and sustainability-linked investment opportunities.
- Prepare investment concept notes, business cases and financial feasibility assessments.
- Support the preparation Of project documentation for engagement With potential financiers and investors.
- Work with technical and regulatory specialists to incorporate engineering, environmental and compliance requirements into investment assessments.
- Provide transaction-related analytical support on relevant advisory assignments. lifications and Experience
Requirements
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, Business Administration or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 7 years in investment advisory, project finance, infrastructure finance, financial modelling or development finance.
- Demonstrated ability to evaluate real investment projects and prepare credible financial models.
- CFA, ACA, ACCA or a relevant postgraduate qualification is desirable.
- Experience With development finance institutions, project finance or sustainable investment is an advantage.
- Reporting Line: Head of Advisory Services / Programme Lead.
