Accounts Officer at Thyaura Partners Concept Limited – Anthony Village, Lagos

Thyaura Partners Concept Limited is recruiting a full-time Accounts Officer in Anthony Village, Lagos, to maintain financial records, process transactions, reconcile accounts and support financial reporting.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including receipts, payments, invoices, and expenses.
• Prepare and process payment vouchers, invoices, receipts, and other financial documents.
• Monitor daily financial transactions and ensure proper documentation and authorisation.
• Reconcile bank statements, cash balances, and ledger accounts regularly.
• Assist in preparing budgets, financial reports, cash flow statements, and management accounts.
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collection of outstanding debts.
• Verify supplier invoices, payment requests, and supporting documents before processing.
• Maintain accurate records of staff expenses, reimbursements, and approved claims.
• Assist with payroll processing and ensure accurate documentation of salary payments and statutory deductions.
• Ensure proper filing and safekeeping of financial records and supporting documents.
• Monitor expenditures and report discrepancies, unusual transactions, or potential financial irregularities to management.
• Assist with tax documentation, statutory remittances, and other regulatory financial requirements.
• Support internal and external audits by providing relevant financial records and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company financial policies, accounting procedures, and approval limits.
• Liaise with banks, suppliers, customers, and other departments on relevant financial matters.
• Prepare periodic financial summaries and submit reports to the Accounts Manager or management as required.
• Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.
