Staff Bus Driver at Bible Society of Nigeria (BSN) – Lagos
The Bible Society of Nigeria (BSN) is recruiting a full-time Staff Bus Driver in Lagos. The successful candidate will operate assigned vehicles responsibly, maintain vehicle records and support safe and efficient transport operations.
Responsibilities
- Operate assigned vehicles efficiently, safely and only for their approved purposes.
- Keep vehicle documents current, complete and properly maintained.
- Report defects, faults and breakdowns immediately, following up until necessary repairs or replacements have been completed.
- Ensure vehicles receive servicing on schedule and monitor the quality of maintenance work.
- Take proper care of assigned vehicles to support reliable performance.
Requirements
- Senior School Certificate qualification.
- At least five years’ relevant driving experience; candidates with ten or more years of sound driving experience may also apply.
- A valid driver’s licence and ability to drive cars, buses and heavy trucks weighing 16–22 tonnes.
- Strong knowledge of driving rules, traffic signs and road safety.
- Integrity, discipline, good character, effective communication, organisation and teamwork.
- Competence in truck driving is essential.
