Surveying and Mapping Officer at Polaris Digitech Limited – Alausa, Ikeja
Polaris Digitech Limited is hiring a full-time Surveying and Mapping Officer in Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos. The officer reports to the Manager, Surveying and Mapping and supports field surveys and geospatial data processing.
Responsibilities
- Conduct reconnaissance before field surveys and acquire spatial and vector data in Nigerian cities.
- Process collected data and prepare accurate survey plans in clients’ required formats.
- Complete field acquisition assignments within approved budgets and project timelines.
- Maintain and account for survey equipment, arranging repair or upgrades when necessary.
- Observe survey regulations and departmental instructions, and support positive client outcomes.
Skills and competencies
- Strong verbal and written communication, time management, organisation and industry awareness.
- Practical survey fieldwork and geospatial data-processing ability.
- Service excellence, teamwork, professionalism, integrity, initiative and ownership of assigned work.
