Technical Training – Welding Instructor at JC International – Port Harcourt
JC International is seeking a Welding Instructor in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, to deliver practical and classroom-based welding training for industrial and oil-and-gas skills development.
Responsibilities
- Deliver welding theory, hands-on demonstrations and supervised practical training.
- Prepare lesson plans, workshop exercises, assessments and teaching resources.
- Teach relevant welding processes, equipment setup, materials and safe operating techniques.
- Assess individual performance, identify learning gaps and provide coaching.
- Monitor workshop equipment and reinforce health, safety and environmental procedures.
- Maintain attendance, training records and assessments and help improve course content.
Requirements
- HND, BSc or BEd in a technical discipline.
- At least five years’ relevant welding, fabrication or industrial experience.
- Professional or technical welding certification and practical proficiency.
- Prior welding trainer or instructor experience.
- Strong coaching, assessment, communication and industrial safety knowledge.
