Architect at The People Office – Lekki

The People Office is recruiting a full-time Architect in Lekki, Lagos, to develop architectural designs, technical drawings and visualisations and support the implementation of interior-design and renovation projects.

Responsibilities

• Translate client briefs into spatial concepts, plans, sections, elevations and detailed construction drawings.
• Survey sites, confirm measurements and coordinate drawings with engineering and interior-design requirements.
• Prepare 3D models, renderings, design presentations and revisions following approved feedback.
• Develop material schedules and specifications with attention to suitability, budgets and durability.
• Support procurement and project managers, clarify site drawings and document technical queries and deviations.
• Participate in site inspections, quality checks, snagging and project handover.
• Maintain approved drawing revisions, specifications, approvals, as-built records and delivery trackers.
• Ensure drawings requiring professional or statutory approval are reviewed by appropriately qualified practitioners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or recognised equivalent.
• One to five years’ relevant architectural design experience, with a strong portfolio.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant design software; experience with SketchUp, Revit, Lumion or similar tools is advantageous.
• Understanding of materials, building methods, site coordination and applicable professional-registration requirements.
• Strong design judgement, technical accuracy, problem-solving and communication skills.
