Position title: Web Developer - PHP. Location: Abuja.About the role
Web Developer - PHP job opportunity is available at Informal Technologies Limited for individuals who possess relevant qualifications.
Responsibilities
- We are looking for a PHP Developer who has good experience building scalabe applications, build and integrate 3rd party APIs, has good understanding of MySQL, Javascript, CSS, jQuery, etc.
- The ideal candidate will need to have a good eye for UI and UX, imepratively, basic understanding of front-end technologies is necessary.
Experience and qualifications
- B.Sc / BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years work experience.
- Build efficient, testable, and reusable code
- Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges
- Understanding accessibility and security compliance
- Strong knowledge of the common PHP or web server exploits and their solutions
- Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
- Familiarity with limitations of PHP as a platform and its workarounds
- Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
- Familiarity with Payments APIs
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
- Strong organizational skills.
