Account Manager (Inventory & Cash) via HRLeverage – Ibadan (2 Openings)

A digital healthcare infrastructure provider is recruiting two Account Managers (Inventory & Cash) through HRLeverage Africa Consulting Limited for Awotan and Orogun, Ibadan. Reporting to the General Manager or CEO, the role oversees cash controls, inventory reconciliation and reliable financial reporting across both sites.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile daily sales and cash collections at both locations, and record transactions accurately in accounting software.
• Conduct frequent stock counts, compare physical inventory with system records and investigate stock or cash discrepancies.
• Supervise the Account Clerk and verify proper shift handover procedures.
• Manage purchase requests, purchase orders, deliveries and procurement records.
• Prepare daily cash and sales reports for the CEO and weekly profit-and-loss summaries by location.
• Maintain segregation of duties and coordinate external audit and compliance work with Taiwo Adewale & Co.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.
• At least three years’ experience in retail accounting, inventory management or financial controls; pharmaceutical retail, FMCG or healthcare experience is advantageous.
• Strong Excel and accounting or POS software skills, with fluency in English and Yoruba.
• Integrity, meticulous record-keeping and the ability to investigate and escalate discrepancies or suspected fraud.

Compensation and performance

Gross pay of ₦180,000–₦250,000 monthly, with HMO, pension, a 13th-month salary and a transport allowance. A ₦40,000 monthly performance bonus is available subject to zero-variance criteria. Key measures include unexplained cash discrepancies no higher than ₦5,000 per week, stock variance below 1%, prompt reporting and full handover compliance.
