Accountant and Operations Intern (Entry-Level) at Domeo Resources International – Lagos Mainland

Domeo Resources International is seeking an entry-level Accountant and Operations Intern on Lagos Mainland to support finance, administration and daily organisational operations. The internship runs for six months to one year, offers a monthly stipend and may be reviewed or extended depending on performance and business needs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accounting documents and assist with routine financial summaries, expenses, receivables, payables and bank reconciliations.
• Monitor spending against budgets, highlight discrepancies and support cost-control documentation.
• Organise documents for VAT, PAYE, withholding tax and pension filings under supervision and prepare audit records.
• Assist with payroll inputs, petty cash records and treasury reconciliations.
• Coordinate procurement, vendor communication, stock records, office supplies and routine operational support.
• Maintain asset and facility documentation and support basic workplace safety procedures.
• Assist HR with records, attendance, onboarding and team coordination.
• Prepare weekly or monthly reports, communicate across departments and escalate issues to supervisors.

Qualifications and skills

• Bachelor’s degree, OND or HND in Accounting or Finance.
• Recent graduates and NYSC members are encouraged to apply.
• Basic accounting knowledge; exposure to Excel, accounting software, administration or operations is an advantage.
• Good recordkeeping, communication, confidentiality, organisation, judgement and willingness to learn.
• 6 months to 1 year of work experience or internship experience preferred.
