Finance Intern at West African Ventures Limited – Ikoyi
West African Ventures Limited is recruiting a Finance Intern in Ikoyi, Lagos, for a 12-month programme supporting accounting administration, document processing and routine finance workflows. It is designed for students pursuing further education, and no previous corporate experience is required.
Responsibilities
- Scan, label, store and retrieve invoices, receipts, statements and vouchers using established naming conventions.
- Organise paper documents in binders and cabinets for ready access and audits.
- Enter simple invoice and numerical data in Excel registers and check paperwork against entries.
- Maintain mail, archive and completion logs; flag missing attachments or duplicate documents.
- Support accountants with printing, copying, binding, checking signatures and assembling documents.
- Respond to internal records requests and return files securely to their correct locations.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in or pursuing OND, HND or a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related discipline.
- Basic Excel, Word and online file-storage skills.
- Meticulous organisation, reliability, communication and confidentiality.
- Willingness to commit to a full 12-month internship.
Salary
₦50,000–₦50,000 per month.
