Accountant at Medi Check Health – GRA, Ikeja, Lagos
Medi Check Health is recruiting an Accountant in GRA, Ikeja, Lagos, to support financial reporting, controls, tax compliance and payroll, reporting to the Finance Manager or Managing Director.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the general ledger, journals, cash books and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare management accounts, trial balances, annual financial statements, budgets and cash-flow forecasts.
- Monitor receivables, expenses, outstanding payments and financial variances.
- Prepare VAT, WHT, PAYE and corporate tax records, statutory remittances and audit schedules.
- Support payroll, pension deductions, petty cash, expense claims and financial controls.
- Identify irregularities, resolve discrepancies and maintain securely filed records for audit and management reporting.
Requirements
- B.Sc. or HND in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
- Three to five years of accounting experience.
- ACA (ICAN), ACCA or ANAN is strongly preferred; part-qualified candidates may be considered.
- Strong financial analysis, accuracy, integrity, organisation and problem-solving skills.
