Financial Analyst and Accountant at an Undisclosed Company via Sisa Method Limited – Abuja

An undisclosed company developing the Ajaokuta Mini Project is recruiting a full-time Financial Analyst and Accountant in Abuja through Sisa Method Limited. The position provides financial control, project cost oversight and forecasting while coordinating essential personnel and office administration.

Financial accounting and controls

• Maintain the general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations and month-end closing records.
• Check supplier invoices against approved purchase orders, goods receipts and contract milestones before authorising payment.
• Manage cash forecasts and payment runs, and coordinate statutory returns, tax filings and external audits.
• Maintain reliable financial records and escalate control gaps or unusual transactions promptly.

Project reporting and administrative coordination

• Monitor project budgets, commitments, accruals, forecast-to-complete and variances for individual work packages.
• Develop financial models covering cash requirements, first-gas scenarios, operating ramp-up, prices and customer margins.
• Coordinate human resources administration, payroll inputs, recruitment arrangements and training records.
• Oversee coordination of office services, fleet, IT support, security and insurance, including related claims documentation.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Professional accounting or finance qualification such as ICAN, ACA, ACCA or CFA.
• At least five years of accounting and financial analysis experience, ideally in oil and gas, energy or project-based operations.
• Strong understanding of project cost accounting, financial models, advanced Excel and accounting software.
• Knowledge of Nigerian taxation, statutory reporting and payroll obligations.
• Integrity, sound financial controls, clear communication and the ability to manage varied responsibilities within a small project team.
