Assistant General Manager – Sales (Automobile) at Ascentech Services Limited – Abuja
Ascentech Services Limited is recruiting a full-time Assistant General Manager, Sales (Automobile), in Abuja to lead automotive sales operations and achieve business growth objectives.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales plans that deliver revenue, market share and business growth targets.
- Lead, coach and manage a sales team, setting performance targets and monitoring results.
- Develop strong relationships with key customers, dealers, fleet buyers and business partners.
- Identify new opportunities, expand customer accounts and develop corporate and fleet sales.
- Oversee the sales process from prospecting and lead generation to negotiations, deal closing and retention.
- Review automotive market developments and competitor activity to guide sales planning.
- Coordinate with marketing, after-sales, finance and other functions to improve customer service.
- Negotiate major commercial deals and report sales performance to management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales or a related discipline.
- Eight to twelve years’ progressive sales experience, including substantial experience in the automobile industry.
- Demonstrated senior sales-management experience and success leading high-performing sales teams.
- Good knowledge of the Nigerian automotive market, dealerships and fleet or corporate sales.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, communication, relationship management and commercial judgement.
- Proven ability to achieve sales objectives and build sustainable customer relationships.
