Assistant Security Manager at Hilton Worldwide – Abuja
Hilton Worldwide is recruiting an Assistant Security Manager at Transcorp Hilton, Abuja, to coordinate hotel security, emergency preparedness and safety compliance.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate hotel security personnel and patrols around guest areas, offices, storage, boundaries and event spaces.
- Work with department heads to explain security responsibilities and deliver regular staff awareness training.
- Support compliance with local fire and safety legislation and maintain knowledge of hotel emergency procedures.
- Investigate and report incidents and theft, liaising with law-enforcement agencies where necessary.
- Arrange additional security coverage for conferences and banquet events.
- Manage departmental key-control arrangements and communicate security procedures across the hotel.
Requirements
- Supervisory security-industry experience and SIA training and licensing.
- Strong leadership, communication, guest-service and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, adapt to operational demands and maintain professional standards.
- Experience of at least ten years in DSS, the armed forces or police is desirable.
- Risk-management or security certification, first aid, fire-fighting qualification and IT proficiency are advantages.
