Security Manager at Hyatt Regency Lagos Ikeja – Ikeja
Hyatt Regency Lagos Ikeja is recruiting a Security Manager in Ikeja, Lagos, to oversee hotel security, emergency preparedness, loss prevention and fire-life safety while protecting guests, colleagues and property.
Responsibilities
- Manage round-the-clock patrols, CCTV operations, access control, security keys and incident investigations.
- Oversee emergency response, evacuation drills, fire-safety inspections and crisis planning.
- Monitor relevant Nigerian fire, labour and private-security compliance requirements.
- Lead security teams and contracted guards, including training and staff deployment.
- Coordinate security arrangements for VIP guests, events and conferences.
- Prepare incident records, security reports, logs and quarterly risk assessments.
Requirements
- Five to eight years’ security operations experience, preferably within hospitality.
- Previous managerial experience and knowledge of security systems and emergency procedures.
- Strong communication, team leadership, professional judgement and ability to manage emergencies.
- Security management, first aid or fire-safety certification is an advantage.
