Audit Manager at Ajoke Group – Lagos
Ajoke Group is recruiting a full-time Audit Manager in Lagos to oversee financial, inventory and operational audits across its FMCG distribution business.
Audit supervision and control
- Lead Audit Department operations and supervise audit officers.
- Review sales, cash collections, customer and representative accounts, invoices, receipts and financial records.
- Audit sales representatives’ stock allocations, outstanding balances, remittances and reconciliations.
- Conduct scheduled and surprise physical-stock checks at warehouses and relevant sales or customer locations.
- Investigate cash shortages, unauthorised transactions, inventory variances, expired products, returns and suspected fraud.
- Examine incentives, commissions, expenses and deductions for accuracy and approval.
Reporting and improvement
- Coordinate reconciliation of audit findings with Finance, Sales, Warehousing and Distribution teams.
- Report risk exposures, discrepancies and internal-control weaknesses, with clear corrective recommendations.
- Follow up unresolved findings and monitor compliance with financial and operational procedures.
- Strengthen policies and safeguards for company assets, funds, stock and records.
- Maintain complete audit files and provide management with regular, accurate audit reports.
- Carry out further audit assignments directed by management.
