Chief People Officer at Heirs Technologies Limited – Lagos

Heirs Technologies Limited is seeking a Chief People Officer in Lagos to lead the People and Culture function and align organisational capability with the company’s execution, growth and enterprise-scale objectives. This executive committee role advises senior leadership and the Board.

People strategy and effectiveness

• Develop and implement a People and Culture strategy linked to business growth and revenue goals.
• Lead organisational design, workforce planning, productivity and resource optimisation.
• Oversee performance frameworks, KPI alignment, calibration, executive reviews and action on underperformance.
• Build leadership pipelines, succession plans and enterprise learning programmes.

Culture, rewards and operations

• Promote company values, engagement, accountability, employee experience and workplace initiatives.
• Lead remuneration, benefits, incentives and reward frameworks while managing costs.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, payroll, employee relations, exits, HR policy and compliance.
• Use HR systems such as Converge to improve visibility, automation and efficiency.
• Drive critical hiring, talent pipelines and employer branding across Engineering, Cloud, Data, Cybersecurity and commercial functions.

Executive partnership and performance

• Advise the CEO and executive committee on people risks and workforce decisions.
• Report to the Board on retention, succession, engagement, workforce productivity and capability readiness.
• Monitor hiring quality, time-to-fill, performance distribution and delivery of People and Culture initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field; master’s degree or MBA preferred.
• At least 15 years of relevant HR or people leadership experience, including five to eight years at executive level.
• Experience in technology, consulting or fast-growing organisations, organisational transformation and culture change.
• Strong strategic, commercial, analytical, stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
• Expertise in organisation design, HR analytics, workforce metrics and results-driven performance management.
• Values-led, collaborative and empathetic leadership supported by disciplined execution.
