Commercial Adviser, Gas at Renaissance African Energy Company – Lagos
Renaissance African Energy Company is recruiting a Commercial Adviser, Gas in Lagos for its Agreements and Gas Market Development team within the Gas and Commercial function.
Responsibilities
- Originate new domestic gas customers and assess development opportunities to support domestic gas delivery objectives.
- Lead and support negotiations for gas sales, transportation, liquid sales and balancing contracts.
- Coordinate technical, financial, legal, production, economics and commercial colleagues to execute agreements.
- Maintain the commercial customer pipeline, gather competitive intelligence and build relationships with customers, joint-venture partners, regulators and aggregators.
- Prepare commercial inputs for internal approvals, including PCNs and GIPs, and support mandates to investigate, negotiate and execute opportunities.
- Work closely with Commercial Operations, Petroleum Engineering, Asset Teams, Finance and Local Content functions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Geosciences, Engineering or an equivalent field.
- At least ten years of relevant industry experience with a record of delivery; prior commercial work is an advantage.
- Understanding of gas origination, contracts, Nigerian gas market regulation and the PIA framework.
- Economic and value-chain awareness, strong stakeholder engagement and negotiation capability.
- Leadership, independent delivery, collaboration and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
