Commercial and Business Development Manager (2 Openings) via Sisa Method – Abuja and Ajaokuta

An undisclosed company is recruiting two Commercial and Business Development Managers for its planned Ajaokuta mini-LNG project through Sisa Method Limited. Positions cover Abuja and Ajaokuta, Kogi State, and focus on gas sourcing, commercial partnerships and offtake readiness.

Commercial responsibilities

• Map industrial, commercial, manufacturing, power and autogas customer demand and develop a prioritised pipeline.
• Lead presales activities, expressions of interest, letters of intent, offtake agreements and term sheets.
• Develop the feedstock supply strategy and negotiate with gas suppliers and network operators on quality, volume, pricing and deliveries.
• Build pricing and margin models, delivered-cost estimates and sensitivity scenarios with Finance.
• Work with Legal on contract terms for price reviews, nominations, payment security and disputes.
• Track supply and customer readiness against plant commissioning and report monthly to the Managing Director on pipeline, contracted volume, revenue, margins and risk.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least seven years’ commercial or business development experience in gas, LNG/CNG, power or industrial fuels.
• Demonstrated gas supply or offtake agreement negotiation experience.
• Strong financial modelling, pricing, relationship-building, negotiation and commercial judgement.
• Understanding of the Nigerian gas market, customers and regulation.
• A commitment to accountability, responsibility, efficiency, teamwork, excellence and early risk reporting.
