Compliance Officer at iRecharge Tech-Innovations – Lagos
iRecharge Tech-Innovations Limited is recruiting a Compliance Officer in Lagos to monitor financial-services regulations, internal controls and risk-management obligations.
Responsibilities
- Monitor CBN, NDIC, BOFIA, NDPA, NFIU and other relevant regulatory requirements.
- Support the preparation and maintenance of compliance policies, reviews, controls and risk assessments.
- Assess customer due diligence, KYC processes, AML/CFT monitoring and suspicious-transaction reporting.
- Prepare statutory and regulatory submissions and provide guidance to operational teams.
- Review proposed products and processes for regulatory implications and support examinations and audits.
- Report compliance concerns, coordinate staff awareness activities and track remediation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
- Three to five years’ compliance, regulatory affairs or risk experience within banking or fintech.
- Practical knowledge of CBN rules, BOFIA, NDIC, NDPA, NFIU, KYC/CDD and AML/CFT.
- Experience with regulatory returns, audits and transaction monitoring, with strong analytical and writing skills.
- CIBN, DCP, CAMS, ICA or comparable certification is an advantage.
