Manager, Regulatory Compliance at Ernst & Young (EY) – Lagos

Ernst & Young (EY) is recruiting a Manager, Regulatory Compliance for its Tax Practice in Lagos. The manager will lead complex regulatory and tax advisory assignments, support clients with compliance obligations and contribute to practice growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead tax and regulatory advisory engagements and develop commercially practical advice and implementation plans.
• Review regulatory changes, conduct legal research and assess compliance implications for clients.
• Oversee annual returns, regulatory submissions, licence requirements and responses to regulatory circulars.
• Identify client compliance risks, recommend corrective measures and monitor agreed actions.
• Coordinate internal training on regulatory developments, prepare tax and regulatory alerts, and contribute to business development.
• Develop trusted client relationships and support indirect-tax, refund and recovery opportunities.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, with at least a Second Class Upper qualification.
• At least six years of relevant regulatory compliance experience or equivalent business or industry experience.
• Strong managerial, organisational, analytical and written communication abilities.
• Proactive professional judgement and capacity to handle competing client priorities.
