Concept Engineer at Renaissance African Energy Company – Port Harcourt, Rivers

Renaissance African Energy Company is recruiting a full-time Concept Engineer in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. The position contributes surface facilities expertise to front-end opportunity planning, concept selection and engineering studies for new and existing energy projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare competitive conceptual designs and support progression through decision gate DG3 under the ORS process and Project Management Framework.
• Apply standardisation, replication, innovative technology and cost optimisation to project scopes.
• Coordinate surface and subsurface interfaces with engineering, studies and development teams.
• Prepare and review project documents, including feasibility reports, concept selection reports, Field Development Plans and Basis for Design reports.
• Participate in project assurance reviews and facilitate sound, risk-based technical decisions.
• Contribute to corporate business and asset plans, manage relevant interfaces and monitor the quality of multidisciplinary studies.
• Promote effective HSE plans, continuous improvement and constructive stakeholder relationships.

Requirements

• At least a bachelor’s degree in Engineering and nine years of engineering design, construction and project delivery experience.
• Strong oil and gas concept development and execution expertise, including front-end development, ORS and integrated facilities planning.
• Ability to coordinate subsurface, wells, production and regulatory interfaces and manage nontechnical risks.
• Leadership, mentoring, communication, practical judgement and continuous improvement skills.
• Commitment to strong safety leadership, ethical conduct and compliance.
