Customer Service & Sales Executive at Undisclosed Company via WAVE – Lagos
An undisclosed food and dessert business in Lagos is recruiting a Customer Service & Sales Executive through West Africa Vocational Education (WAVE).
Role overview
Lead customer-service activity for a growing Lagos food and dessert business, converting enquiries to sales, strengthening repeat relationships and creating opportunities for outdoor dessert catering.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate and guide the customer-service team to deliver strong customer support.
- Manage incoming enquiries, follow up quotations and leads, and convert prospects into paid orders.
- Encourage customer retention, reactivation, upselling and cross-selling where appropriate.
- Support important customer accounts and resolve complaints professionally.
- Identify and follow up new dessert-catering opportunities outside the premises.
- Track conversion, sales targets and team results; prepare weekly reports and maintain accurate customer records.
Requirements
- Three to five years’ experience in sales, customer service or account management.
- Ability to convert customer enquiries into sales; previous team supervision is an advantage.
- Strong communication, negotiation, relationship management and follow-up skills.
- Confidence working to targets, KPIs and performance reporting.
- Computer proficiency, including WhatsApp Business and CRM tools.
- Experience in food, hospitality, events, catering or premium retail is advantageous.
- Proximity to the Lagos job location is important.
Compensation
Monthly salary of ₦200,000–₦250,000, plus performance incentives.
