Customs Clearance Specialist at SANY Nigeria – Lagos
SANY Nigeria is recruiting a Customs Clearance Specialist in Lagos to manage import and export clearance for heavy-duty machinery and spare parts, from the preparation of documents through delivery to the warehouse.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and verify shipping papers, customs declarations, permits and other import-export records.
- Coordinate agents, customs officials and relevant teams to complete clearance formalities.
- Track consignments, resolve documentation problems and communicate shipment progress.
- Organise port-to-warehouse movement and handover with logistics and warehouse colleagues.
- Maintain accurate shipment, regulatory and clearance records.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, HND or equivalent qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transport Management, Business Administration, International Trade or a related field.
- Practical clearance experience covering both heavy-duty machinery and spare parts.
- Strong understanding of import and export documentation, customs processes and shipment coordination.
- Careful record management and ability to work with external and internal stakeholders.
- Import-export officers with the required machinery and spare-parts background are encouraged to apply.
