Diligent Housekeeper at Greywood Hotels & Apartments – Ojodu-Berger
Greywood Hotels & Apartments is recruiting a Diligent Housekeeper in Ojodu-Berger, Lagos. The role ensures that guest rooms, public spaces and back-of-house facilities are cleaned and maintained to hotel standards.
Key responsibilities
- Clean and prepare guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors and other assigned hotel areas.
- Change bed linen, replace towels and replenish room amenities.
- Sweep, mop, dust and vacuum rooms and public spaces.
- Report damaged items, missing property and maintenance faults promptly.
- Use and store cleaning products and equipment safely, and follow hygiene and safety procedures.
- Assist with laundry duties when needed and respond courteously to guest requests.
- Work with other housekeeping colleagues to keep services running smoothly.
Requirements
- SSCE, GCE or NECO qualification.
- Previous housekeeping experience; hotel experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Attention to detail, sound time management and ability to work independently.
- Understanding of cleaning products and safe handling practices.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, and sufficient stamina for standing, bending and lifting.
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
