Female Executive Housekeeper at Protea Hotel Lagos Kuramo Waters – Lagos

Protea Hotel Lagos Kuramo Waters is recruiting a Female Executive Housekeeper to lead the housekeeping department, maintain cleanliness and presentation standards, and support guest satisfaction across its Lagos property.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily cleaning and presentation of guest rooms, corridors, public areas, offices and other facilities.
• Inspect rooms and public spaces, coordinate room readiness with the Front Office and resolve cleanliness concerns.
• Supervise, train, schedule, motivate and assess housekeeping staff, with attention to conduct, attendance and performance.
• Manage linen, cleaning materials, guest amenities, equipment, stocktaking and requisitions while minimising waste.
• Respond to guest housekeeping requests and complaints promptly, ensuring problems are resolved.
• Enforce hygiene, chemical-handling and workplace safety procedures.
• Report maintenance defects, manage lost-and-found records and coordinate effectively with other departments.
• Monitor housekeeping performance against room readiness, quality, guest satisfaction, productivity and cost-control standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management or a related discipline.
• At least five years in hospitality, including two to three years in a housekeeping supervisory or management position.
• Experience in an established hotel, preferably an international hotel brand.
• Knowledge of room inspections, laundry, inventory control, housekeeping procedures and hygiene standards.
• Strong leadership, organisation, attention to detail, reporting and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to handle operational pressure and deadlines.
• Professional conduct, integrity, initiative and a guest-service focus.
