Engineering – Production Technologist III at ABNL Limited – Lagos
ABNL Limited is recruiting an Engineering – Production Technologist III on contract in Lagos. The role leads well-completion planning, production-system optimisation, well and reservoir performance management and intervention proposals within oil and gas operations.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate well modelling, sand-control, perforation, artificial-lift, completion and smart-well designs.
- Lead well, reservoir and facilities management, surveillance, well integrity and production optimisation.
- Review field performance and short-term production forecasts and develop improvement opportunities.
- Assess flow assurance problems, near-wellbore damage, stimulation, water and gas shut-off and reperforation candidates.
- Prepare intervention proposals with designs, economic justifications and execution plans; secure required approvals.
- Coordinate with reservoir engineers, geologists, drilling, facilities, field personnel, venture partners and regulators.
- Maintain technical data and digital well records and evaluate cost-effective technology.
- Provide technical leadership, mentor production technologists and communicate recommendations to management.
