A bottled and sachet-water production and distribution company is recruiting a Female Accounts Officer / Trainee in Alimosho, Lagos, to maintain daily financial records, reconcile transactions and support production-cost reporting.

Job Summary

They are seeking a diligent, trustworthy, and detail-oriented Accounts Officer to manage daily accounting records and support financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate daily records of sales, expenses, receipts, and payments.
• Record and reconcile daily cash and bank transactions.
• Monitor customer payments, credit sales, and outstanding receivables.
• Maintain proper records of production costs and operational expenses.
• Track inventory movements and reconcile stock records with physical stock.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
• Monitor cash flow and report financial discrepancies to management.
• Maintain proper filing of invoices, receipts, vouchers, and other accounting documents.
• Assist with payroll preparation and other accounting duties as assigned.
• Ensure proper documentation and accountability for all financial transactions.

Requirements

• Minimum of OND in Accounting or a related discipline.
• Candidates with previous practical accounting experience may also be considered.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or distribution business is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software is an advantage.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and record-keeping skills.
• Must be honest, organised, accurate, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be available for immediate resumption.
