Fibre Engineer at Ngcom Network Solutions – Delta and Oyo
Ngcom Network Solutions is recruiting a Fibre Engineer in Delta and Oyo.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, splice, terminate, and test fiber optic cables.
- Carry out FTTH installations and customer activations.
- Troubleshoot fiber faults and restore network services promptly.
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on fiber infrastructure.
- Perform fiber testing using OTDR, power meter, and other diagnostic tools.
- Install and configure ONTs/ONUs and related customer premises equipment.
- Prepare installation, maintenance, and fault reports.
- Ensure compliance with company safety and quality standards.
Requirements
- OND/HND/B.Sc. in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in FTTH/Fiber Optic installation and maintenance.
- Hands-on experience with fiber splicing, OTDR testing, and fault troubleshooting.
- Good understanding of GPON/FTTH networks.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be resident in or willing to relocate to, Warri, Asaba, or Ibadan.
