Technical Assistant – Concrete Technology, Manufacturing & Commercial Development via Elevare – Lagos

An undisclosed employer is recruiting a full-time Technical Assistant in Lagos through Elevare Human Solutions Limited. The mid-level role supports concrete admixture technology, manufacturing operations, technical customer engagement and commercial development.

Responsibilities

• Build practical working knowledge of concrete admixtures, including polycarboxylate ether (PCE) and sulphonated naphthalene formaldehyde (SNF) products, their applications and performance.
• Support concrete testing, product demonstrations, customer trials and technical documentation with relevant technical personnel.
• Participate in customer visits and engage ready-mix customers on technical enquiries, product performance and complaint follow-up.
• Assist manufacturing and production teams with operational coordination, documentation, reporting and action tracking.
• Gather and analyse data on product performance, production activity, customer needs and commercial opportunities.
• Coordinate work across technical, manufacturing, sales, logistics and other relevant teams.
• Prepare reports, presentations, updates and practical recommendations to inform management decisions and continuous improvement.
• Carry out assigned work in laboratories, factories, construction sites and customer locations while observing health, safety, quality and operational requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, Concrete Technology, Manufacturing or a related discipline.
• Typically three to seven years of progressive experience, although strong candidates outside this range may be considered.
• Exposure to PCE/SNF admixtures, concrete testing, ready-mix customers or admixture manufacturing is strongly preferred.
• Good analytical and numerical reasoning, practical execution, communication and commercial awareness.
• Competence with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and business reporting.
• Ability to work across laboratories, factories, construction sites and customer premises.
• Willingness to travel within Nigeria.

Role scope and expectations

The position involves cross-functional assignments and planned rotations in a Lagos-based role. Independent formulation approval and test certification are outside its scope.

Performance will be assessed through dependable technical and operational support, accurate reporting, problem-solving, customer responsiveness and coordination across teams.
