Human Resources / Admin Intern at Churchgate Group – Lagos
Churchgate Group is recruiting a Human Resources / Admin Intern for its Lagos operations in Victoria Island and Marina. The full-time position provides support across personnel records, attendance, recruitment, onboarding, training and administrative documentation.
Responsibilities
- Organise incoming departmental correspondence, staff records and registers.
- Assist with monthly attendance reporting, absence adjustments and staff welfare documentation.
- Prepare supporting records for group life insurance, employee compensation, the Industrial Training Fund and eligible overtime.
- Support new staff pension registration, salary account opening, recruitment, induction and placement.
- Contribute to weekly HR meetings, monthly reports and staff training records.
- Assist with workplace safety procedures, compliance tracking and general office administration.
- Welcome visitors to the HR Manager’s office and handle other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with at least a Second Class Upper (2:1) in Business Administration, Industrial Relations and Personnel Management, Human Resources, Management or a behavioural science discipline.
- Zero to one year of relevant experience.
- Basic computer literacy with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other Office applications.
